This week's Features are:
Rotten Apple Reads
Tsukio Books
This week's question is: Share your favorite literary quote.
Hmm, there really are quite a few books that I could quote. But I think I will quote Jane Austen, as she's my favorite of all time. :) This is the first line from Pride & Prejudice.
"It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife."
What about y'all??

OOh very nice! Haven't read any Jane Austen myself.

DeleteHmmm, I lot of people seem to be quoting Pride and Prejudice today! Maybe because the quotes are deep like yours, am I right? Anyway, I like the quote! It really speaks for itself!
ReplyDeleteMy FF
Hi, Roxy! Thanks for hopping by. I can't speak for why others quote Austen but I love her because she wrote women (Elizabeth in particular) who stood up to the social structure of the time.
DeleteOn my way to check out your quote. Happy Friday!
It looks like we have a lot of P&P fans in this hop!
