I had another good week!! Except for the M&Ms I indulged in while watching Fifty Shades. :)
Sunday ~ I did cardio at home - both an elliptical program and running on the treadmill. Steps: 10408 (5 miles) 1879 points
Monday ~ I worked out at home - cardio - as my kids were home for a holiday. Steps: 6506 (2.4 miles) 717 points
Tuesday ~ I went to yoga and it was wonderful! I then did my cardio - both elliptical and treadmill - for an hour. Steps: 8014 (3.8 miles) 1432 points
Wednesday ~ I did my Muscle Madness class and then I did zumba. I still hadn't met my goal for the day, so I ran on the treadmill for half an hour after I got home. Steps: 10728 (4.2 miles) 1455 points
Thursday ~ I did yoga. Again, lots of stretching of my hips and thighs...I felt great afterwards. I didn't do cardio because I decided to give my legs a day of rest. Steps: 2456 (0.8 miles) 249 points
Friday ~ I did my cardio workout at home - an hour on both machines. Steps: 4760 (2.5 miles) 1010 points

I continued keeping my food journal this week, and counting calories. I'm still feeling great and I weighed myself at the beginning of the week and found I'd lost 2 lbs. Go me! *haha*

This was a good week!!
Saturday ~ I did cardio at home - both an elliptical program and running on the treadmill. Steps: 10408 (5 miles) 1879 points
Monday ~ I tried a new class. It's called Muscle Madness but it's really an interval class and it was awesome! Then I did an hour of cardio. Of course, I was so sore I could barely move but 'no pain, no gain', right?!? Steps: 10268 (4.5 miles) 1649 points
Tuesday ~ I went to yoga thinking to stretch out my sore muscles from the Muscle Madness class. But I had a sub and she did PiYo instead of yoga. This really worked my glutes and hamstrings... again...so I really had trouble moving. I also got in a walk outside. Yeah, I'm a glutton. :) Steps: 6506 (2.4 miles) 717 points
Wednesday ~ I was planning on doing Muscle Madness again but decided I'd better give my muscles a break. I did a half hour of cardio at home. Steps: 3320 (1.3 miles) 408 points
Thursday ~ I did yoga. And we did lots of stretching our hips and hamstrings. I felt amazing aferwards. Then I ran 2.5 miles. Steps: 7052 (3.5 miles) 1412 points
Friday ~ I have my kids and hubs at home today - (holiday) - so I'll do my cardio here at home.

I don't know exactly what the points mean on my Flash but they set my goal at 1000 points a day. Unfortunately, when I do an hour class of yoga, or even Zumba, it doesn't rack up that many points. I still have to get some cardio in to hit that number. (and I don't always, obviously) But I *know* that I worked out even if my points don't show it.
Also, I started keeping a food journal this week, and counting calories. I've cut back on my coffee+creamer to see if that'll help make a difference in my waistline. I really feel like a eat well. So I'll just give it time. All this exercise and not having to work this week has left me feeling great, strong, and confident though.

Work and a sick kiddo slowed me down this week. But I squeezed in exercising. :)
Monday ~ I worked. But I got in an hour of cardio when I got home. I did get 11304 steps - 4 miles.
Tuesday ~ I did my hour of cardio at home - no yoga because I had a sick kid at home. I only got 7138 steps in.
Wednesday ~ Nada. Besides being home with my sick son, I wasn't feeling all that well either.
Thursday ~ I worked. And I did a yoga class - because I needed it. AND I did an hour of cardio. I got in 8380 steps.
Friday ~ I'm planning on doing a PiYo class - combination of pilates and yoga. And I'll get my cardio workout in as well. :)
I'll get some extra workouts in over the weekend. I'm still feeling good about getting my exercise in and eating well. Still haven't noticed a difference in my clothes. Hmm...

This week has been challenging for me as far as exercising since I've worked more than usual. I am still doing well with my eating goals.
Monday ~ I worked. I did get 6188 steps - 2 miles.
Tuesday ~ I did my yoga class plus an hour of cardio. I got in 9080 steps or 3.4 miles.
Wednesday ~ I did an hour of Zumba and then 30 minutes on the elliptical and 30 minutes on the treadmill. I set a personal best of 12772 steps - 5 miles!! That was 1752 points.
Thursday ~ I worked. But I did get to 84% of my goal. 8340 steps or 2.7 miles.
Friday ~ I'm working today but I'm hoping I'll get at least 70% of my goal...around 7000 steps.
I'm feeling proud of myself for working at the exercising. Hopefully soon, it will start to show in how my pants fit! ;)

I apologize for not getting my check in done for week 2 last week. I was out of town doing college tours with my daughter. But I wanted to do an update for that week as well as this past week.
I will try to figure out how to do graphics or something to make these posts a little more fun to look at. I'm still trying to figure out everything I can do with my Flash. My daily goal is 1000 points or ~ 9000 steps.
**Week 2**
On Monday, I did an hour on the elliptical. I hit 1196 points or 9376 steps.
On Tuesday, I went to yoga class - it's still just as awesome. I'm really loving this class. I only hit 254 (2506) points though.
On Wednesday, I went to my first Zumba class. My yoga teacher teaches it and asked me to come. I'm terrible as it, y'all. But it's so much fun! I smiled and laughed almost the entire hour. I didn't set my Flash properly so it said I only hit 707 points (6970 steps).
On Thursday, I spent a lot of time in the car driving. My daughter and I left on Wednesday afternoon headed to Seattle. Once there, we drove to Portland. We toured a college in Portland. Then walked around the city a little, in the rain, and got lunch. After that, we drove to see Multnomah Falls. And then we made the ~4.5 hour drive to Bellingham, WA which ended up taking closer to 7 hours because of rain and traffic. I hit 716 points (6818 steps).
On Friday, we toured another college and then walked around campus a bit. After that, we went into downtown Bellingham, and walked around before having lunch. This is the only day where my Flash said I got in enough activity to meet my goals. :) We left Bellingham in the afternoon, headed to Olympia. I hit 1026 points (9324 steps) today.
On Saturday, we toured another college campus, also in the rain. We also did a little sightseeing in downtown Olympia. We then drove over to Tacoma where we visited Owen Beach on Puget Sound and got a private tour of the University of Puget Sound from my pal Robyn Jones. :) I hit 860 points (7980 steps).
Sunday was spent walking in airports and driving. I only hit 641 points (6078 steps).
**Week 3**
This past Monday, didn't get any extra exercise in. I was busy doing laundry and grocery shopping since I'd been gone over the weekend. Plus, my kids were out of school for the day and I wanted to spend some extra time with my two younger kiddos since I'd been gone. I only hit 212 points! Gah! Only 2096 steps.
On Tuesday, I went to my yoga class. Then I also did an hour on my elliptical. I hit 916 points or 8422 steps today.
On Wednesday, I went to Zumba once again. I hit 993 points or 9260 steps today.
On Thursday, I did an hour on my elliptical. I hit 910 points or 9260 steps.
On Friday, I worked but still got close to my goal. I hit 704 points in only 6860 steps.
Yesterday, I did an hour on the elliptical. I hit 1101 points or 9092 steps.

I'm still doing well with my eating habits as well. I didn't go too crazy while my daughter and I were away. And I got right back to eating normally/healthily this week.

Okay, so I this is my first week doing #FitReaders. It was my first week back to eating healthy and exercising after the holidays. :) I had a pretty good week. I got a membership to my local rec center and a Misfit Flash for Christmas. I just got my Flash going yesterday, so it'll help me keep track of what I'm doing daily.
On Monday, I worked. I also worked today and wore my Flash. Based on what my Flash said for today, I can guesstimate that I walked about 10000 steps. That's ~3 miles.
On Tuesday, I went to my first ever yoga class - and it's a combination of tai chi, yoga, and pilates. It was awesome.
On Wednesday, I went to an interval class. It kicked my ass, y'all. Just sayin'.
Yesterday, I spent 30 minutes on my elliptical and 30 minutes on my treadmill - for a total of about 4.5 miles.
And today, as I already said, I worked. Not only did I walk about 10, 200 steps, I was some heavy lifting, and lots of squatting. :) I work at Barnes & Noble, for those of you who don't know.
Also, I did well with eating - which makes me happy. AND, I went to bed early this week, getting at least 6 hours of sleep.
