Series: #1 Undeniable
Author: Madeline
From GoodReads:
Warning: This is not a typical love story. This is an all-consuming, soul-crushing, tear-your-heart-into-pieces story. It’s intense, gritty and raw, dark and disturbing, and it doesn’t happen overnight. This is an epic love story that knows no boundaries and has no time limits. It grows and develops—with hurt, sacrifice, and heartache—over the span of a lifetime.
Eva Fox is the princess of the Silver Demons Motorcycle Club. Growing up with bikers in the club lifestyle is all that she knows. When she’s a young girl, Eva meets the reason for her existence. Deuce West is the sexy, biker bad-ass of the Hell’s Horsemen Motorcycle Club. Like Eva, he was born and raised in the club—but that’s where the similarities end. Their first meeting is innocent, but as Eva matures into a woman, their chance reunions evolve into a fit of lust and love. Fate continues to bring them together time and time again, but their twisted journey is filled with pain, betrayal, and bloodshed that could tear them apart. Eva sees in Deuce what he cannot see in himself—a man worthy of love—and Eva spends her lifetime proving to him that her undeniable love is the one thing he can’t live without.
This is Eva and Deuce’s story.
It wasn’t easy.
Nothing worth doing ever is.
And love is worth everything.

Holy smokes!! So glad this book came with a warning label! ;) Let me preface this review by stating flat out it's not for the faint of heart nor for those easily offended. This book is raw, gritty, profane, and unapologetic. And sooo incredibly amazing!!
I chose this book as my Bad because it had content that could be considered off-putting but it had gotten good reviews so I wanted to check it out. This story is definitely unconventional, dealt in topics I have absolutely no experience with, contained adultery, drinking, drug use, murder...but at it's heart, it's a love story. Yes, a undefinable, indescribable, crazy-insane love story, but a love story nonetheless.
Eva meets Duece when she's 5 years old...they're both at Riker's Island visiting their fathers, who are incarcerated there. Deuce was 23.
"Mark Twain said, 'The two most important days in your life is the day you were born and the day you find out why.' I don't remember the day I was born but I remember the day I found out why. His name was Deuce. He was my 'why'."
This day was life-changing for both Eva and Deuce. Their love story takes place over 30 years and it's definitely not always a pretty story. There is the age difference (which is handled tastefully), there is betrayal and heart break. There are also endearing moments that make the reader believe that true love does exist and can survive seemingly insurmountable odds.
Eva grows up surrounded by love - her father's and uncles' and all the biker boys'. Deuce grew up knowing nothing of love. He grew up being told he was garbage, worth nothing. The two meet again and again over the years and both recognize the connection between them. Deuce, while Eva is "jail bait" feels as though there must be something wrong with him that he has this attraction or connection to Eva. Once Eva is "of age", he only feels unworthy. Eva sees much more in Deuce. She sees more in him than he sees in himself but eventually, Eva teaches Deuce to love. Sometimes love is undeniable and clearly, Eva and Deuce were meant for one another.
Undeniable was addictive. I couldn't put it down despite cringe-worthy moments. I will definitely be reading more of Ms. Sheehan.
