**Feature & Follow #24**

Welcome to the Blog Hop!

Feature & Follow is a weekly blog hop hosted by the talented ladies behind AlisonCanRead and Parajunkee's View. The intent of this blog hop is to get out there and meet other bloggers and gain new followers yourself. What sets this blog hop apart is the Feature. Each week, two blogs are featured, one at AlisonCanRead and one at Parajunkee's View. So make sure to hop over to those blogs to check out this week's Features.

This week's Features are:
Paperbook Princess
Got Fiction?

This week's question is: What is your preferred reading format? Hardcover, paperback, ebook??

I have to say that I read more ebook format than anything else lately. However, I actually LOVE physical books. I love the feel of the paper, the smell...it all enhances the experience for me. :) I do prefer hardcover or trade paper format over mass market but that's mostly to do with the fact that I require reading glasses - I actually have no-line bifocals!! So I like a bigger book because it generally has bigger font! *giggles*

So what about y'all? Which format do y'all prefer??

  1. I resisted for a long time, but once I finally made the move to e-books I fell in love. You can take an entire library with you, buy straight from the device, and change the font size! Happy Friday Brandee!

    1. I fell faster but probably because I worked at a bookstore that was selling them. :) It is nice to be able to carry hundreds of books on vacation, Traci! ;) Have a great weekend!

  2. I used to love mass market the best, but I've become more of a trade paper these days. Hardcover is nice for sitting on the shelf, but not so easy to read.

    1. I used to read MM too but had to give them up because of the font size. Wearing glasses helps but it's still hard! LOL :) Thanks for hopping by!

  3. Haha! Nice! I love me the real books too. But I actually love Mass Market the best because those can so easily fit into my purses and are not heavy! That way, no matter where I am, I can have a book! I still carry one with me on occasion! hardcovers and trades are a little heavier and require a bigger purse, but it can still be done! Just with difficulties!

    Here's my Follow Friday

  5. Happy Friday to you too, Kaykay! I'm glad you're still reading physical books too. Although I agree with you about the reading faster and easier highlighting. You should see my hardcovers with sticky tabs hanging out with all my notes! ;)

  6. Thanks for the follow, favor returned via GFC.

There is just something so enticing about an actual physical book in ones hands - that will never change. But readers are convenient, I must admit!

    Have a great weekend!

  8. I remember your haul after going to the book/author convention. You do love your books! I love any way I can get my hands on a great read. My library has an excellent ebook selection, but you can also request purchase a book and it goes straight to your wait list! Oh so awesome. I'm just a book whore, let's face it. Have a great weekend, Brandee!!

    1. Yeah, you got me there, Robyn! Oh, and I love my local library as well. I haven't even checked out their ebook selection but I can't go in there without leaving with several books. It's an addiction...I freely admit it. Oh, okay, I'm a book whore too! ;) Hope your weekend was splendid!

  11. I really don't like the trade paperback I feel like their too big and I actually wasn't aware that the printing of the actual words were much bigger on those LOL

    1. So, just so you know I'm a total book geek...the font is a bit larger and the paper is a bit whiter which helps as well. :) I do agree that MM size is very portable though. I used to read them all the time. My eyes are just a lot older now. LOL

      Thanks for hopping by!
