This was a delightful anthology to read on a cold, wintry day!

We'll Be Home for Christmas (Holloway #3) - HelenKay Dimon
Spencer Thomas and Lila Payne enjoyed a passionate 3 day weekend together a few months back...back Spencer wasn't entirely honest. Now, Lila has moved to town...Spencer's town, and although she's a little hot under the collar at Spence's lack of honesty, these two can't put out the heat between them. So while working to remodel the resort Lila now runs for her uncle, Spence and Lila work at building a foundation between them.

This is a very well written and entertaining novella. I was left wanting a little more to the back story, but as I haven't read the first two in the Holloway series, I'm sure I can rectify that. :) I did feel like the ending was a bit too tidy but I was gratified with the ending. Overall, an enjoyable read!

Ask Her at Christmas - Christi Barth
Caitlin and Kyle have been BFFs forever but Caitlin has been harboring some more-than-friendly feelings for Kyle for awhile. When Kyle asks Caitlin to help him plan the perfect proposal for his pseudo-girlfriend, it nearly breaks her heart. But Caitlin is his BFF, so she'll pull through for him.

However, when Caitlin saves the day by posing as Kyle's date when his fiance-to-be bails on him AND they share a hot and way more than friends kiss, everything changes.

This was an adorable read. Despite it's short length, the author did a fine job of character development and I was satisfied at the end rather than wanting.

The Best Thing (Kent Brothers #3) - Jaci Burton
I read A Rare Gift (Kent Brothers #2) last year around the holidays so I was thrilled to return to the Kent Brothers' story!

Tori Lewis has been a part of the Kent family since she was in high school. Roger and Stacy Kent and the Kent brothers have always treated her like one of their own. And since Tori's parents disappeared from her life, the Kent family have meant the world to Tori. She has worked as office manager for the family business for the past 4 years. Brody and Tori have always had a fun and antagonist relationship. They tease and spar and laugh. And although Tori has been in love with Brody since she was a teenager, it's always been enough. She was happily ensconced in his family - her only real family - and she'd never do anything to jeopardize that. Brody has always been a womanizer. A happily self-proclaimed, confirmed bachelor.

At last year's company Christmas party, their sparring went a bit too far and ended in a kiss. A kiss neither Brody nor Tori has been able to forget...even ten months later. Brody's not sure he's ready for commitment and Tori's too afraid to try for fear of losing her family. Can either of them look past their hangups to work at something that could last forever?

Brody and Tori's story made my heart melt and left me with warm fuzzies. :) I was very pleased that both Brody and Tori were able to move past their issues so they could have the Happily Ever After they deserve.

I love Ms. Burton's writing - it's always a well developed story line with engaging characters. The Best Thing was no exception!
