My To-Be Read List is a meme hosted by Michelle @Because Reading. I think it's a fabulous idea because it gets y'all in the game and it helps me knock off some of the many, many books on my TBR list. You're more than welcome to join in the fun! I've included the basic rules below but you can click on the graphic above to hop over to Michelle's site where you can find all the details.
Here's how it works:
On the first Saturday of each month, I will make a post with three books from my TBR List (these books can be already on your ereader or bookshelf OR books you might want to purchase) and add your link on the linky that will be provided on Michelle's post. Y'ALL will help me choose which book I will read next. The following Saturday, I will announce which book won. Then the last Saturday of the month, I'll post my review.
Fun, right?!?

In case y'all haven't noticed, I kinda like themes for this meme. It may not always work out that way but this month, I picked the oldest books on my three ereaders. Yep, the first ones I one-clicked. (I included the one-click dates below) So y'all are going to help me remove one of the oldest books I have on my nooks or my kindle!
Here are the choices:

Every Last Kiss
Bloodstone Saga #1
One-clicked February 13, 2013
Born a goddess. Controlled by the Fates. Can Macy's love for her soul mate survive the bonds of time...and death?
17-year old Macy Lockhart is as far from normal as any girl can be. The problem is, she doesn't know it yet.
After a bloodstone pendant is mysteriously left on her door, Macy's life begins to change in ways she'd never dreamed. And while she will eventually come to realize that nothing is ever what it seems, that her life is a tangled web of lies and the Fates themselves pull the strings, for now she is left with only the explanations that they offer her.
Macy is led to believe that is she doesn't return to a previous doomed life, one in which she served as Queen Cleopatra's handmaiden, the fate of the entire world will be threatened in a way that would destroy history as we know it. She learns that she has lived thousands of lives, each one ending tragically...but none as tragic as this one.
After returning to ancient Egypt, she is faced with heart-wrenching decisions. Unless she interferes with Fate's plan, the very thing she was born to protect, her soul mate will die leading Marc Antony's forces against Rome. Can she really stand aside and watch the love of her life die all over again?
In this fascinating novel-length prequel to The Bloodstone Saga, Courtney Cole sets the stage for an epic journey that will have readers holding their breath until the very last page of the very last book has been turned.
What would you do if you held Fate in your hands?

The Watson Brothers
Watson Brothers #1-3 Compilation
One-clicked on May 17, 2010
My House, My Rules
Sweetly sexy and extremely determined Ariel drives tough, rugged cop Sam Watson over the edge. When Ariel's headstrong ways nearly wreck one of Sam's sting operations--ruining her dress in the process--he offers her a ride to his place to clean up. But Ariel seems to have her own agenda, and Sam decides it's time to show the lady that is she wants to play games of seduction, he'll be calling the shots...
Bringing Up Baby
Gil Watson's wild night on a business trip two years ago resulted in a daughter he never know he had. Now that the girl's mother is gone, he wants to do right by his little girl, even if it means a marriage of convenience with the woman who's been raising her. Anabel Truman is totally wrong for him. But the sensations she rouses in Gil feel totally right.
Good With His Hands
As best friends, Pete Watson and Cassidy McClannahan have a "no sex" relationship. "No sex" equals continuing friendship. "Ohmygodyes" sex equals big problems. It may be a rigid rule, but it works--until Pete decides he wants to push the line and transform himself into the perfect guy he thinks Cassidy wants.

I voted for Every Last Kiss because I've had it for a looooong time, too! :D
ReplyDeleteI went with the Foster. It was the one you've had the longest, and it's a 3 for 1, so bonus. :)
ReplyDeleteEvery Last Kiss has my vote! This one was a hard pick.
ReplyDeleteI voted for Every Last Kiss as it sounds good and the cover is pretty. I also like themes for this meme, I always try to find some sort of theme or common ground. I only have two e-readers so I can't do this theme.
ReplyDeleteI voted for Every Last Kiss cause it's about Goddesses. :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of these books yet, but Every Last Kiss is on my wish list so that's my vote.
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading!
Marilyn @ Marilyn's Mystery Blog
I picked Every Last Kiss. I love the Egyptian setting and the plot sounds good.
ReplyDeleteTe Watson brothers! Happy birthday!!
ReplyDeleteThis month was hard! I picked the Watson Brothers because I love Lori Foster, but Every Last Kiss looked good too.
ReplyDeleteEvery Last Kiss looks yummy :) Please go with it! <3
ReplyDelete*haha* Whichever one gets the most votes, Ramona. But if Every Last Kiss doesn't win, I will read it sometime soon. I'd forgotten I had it and it sounds really good! :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't read Lori Foster yet - but since you love her, I'll get this one read even if it doesn't win. :) Thanks for voting. I'll hop over to your place...
ReplyDeleteThanks, Braine!! <3 <3 <3
ReplyDeleteI think it sounds good, too, Sarah. And I'd totally forgotten I even had it. :/
ReplyDeleteI'm sure I one-clicked it when it was a freebie, Marilyn. I will say that even if it doesn't win, I'll read it soon because it does sound good and I'd forgotten about it. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Stormi!! I'm excited about it for that reason as well. ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL There's nothing wrong with not having more than 2 ereaders, Lola. I'll have to watch your themes - I might have to steal one sometime. ;) I almost went with sequels this month (like your next in series)...I may do that one next month.
ReplyDeleteThanks for voting. Every Last Kiss seems to be in the lead. :)
I can't believe I forgot about Every Last Kiss, Michelle. If it doesn't win, I'll be reading it soon anyway. :)
ReplyDeleteI like the way you think, Karsyn!! ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL I'm glad I'm not the only one, Angie! If it doesn't win, I'm thinking I'll read it soon because it does sound good and I'd totally forgotten I even had it. :)
ReplyDeleteI voted for The Watson Brothers. Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteI went to Amazon and looked to see who had the highest star rating-and that was Every Last Kiss. However, it was just .1 off of the Watson Brothers. So I picked the Watson Brothers due to Lori Foster-and it just sounded better to me.I don't usually research these things..lol
ReplyDeleteI picked the Lori Forster compilation because I loved those books when I read them years ago. Hope you feel the same!
ReplyDeleteI have Every Last Kiss on my shelf as well and that's an awesome theme this month, going after the oldest books you've gotten. You go girl, you are so full of ideas! Good luck on reading whichever book was picked.
ReplyDeleteIt's not letting me vote:( but if I could, I'd vote for the first one! I love the sounds of it and I'm pretty sure I also one clicked it ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rachael!
ReplyDelete*giggle-snorts* Thanks for taking the time to research for me, Lorna! :) Lori Foster is definitely an author I'm eager to read.
ReplyDeleteYay! I love that your vote comes with a recommendation. Thanks, Sarah!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sharrice. I think (hope) I'll be happy with whichever book is chosen. :) And hopefully I can keep coming up with themes every month. I have so many books to read, it shouldn't be that hard, right?!? *hahahaha*
ReplyDeleteI wonder why it wasn't working for you! Hmm. Thanks for letting me know your pick here though. Overwhelm Me is actually one of the reasons - of maybe 3 reasons at the time - that I bought a kindle. *ha* There were 3 books (as I remember) that I really, really wanted to read but were only available through Amazon. So I asked for a kindle for my birthday just so I could read them. And guess what? Yeah, I haven't read a one of them. *hahaha* But I've read many, many others, so it's all good, right??
ReplyDeleteI also have Every Last Kiss and I don't know when I'll ever get to it. But I chose Lori Foster's set. They all sound good so I hope you enjoy whichever one you read =)
ReplyDeleteI truly like the sound of Every Last Kiss . . . Voted! ;)
ReplyDeletePretty sure I have Every Last Kiss on my kindle...so I picked that then I can see what you think!
ReplyDeleteWatson Brothers absolutely. Looks like a lot of sexy fun! Let me know if you still have a tie. I'll vote under a pseudonym. {}
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for voting, Kathy! This has been a really close one. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Silvia!! <3
ReplyDeleteLOL I wonder how many of us have Every Last Kiss unread on our kindles, Laura...and others as well. We should compare notes! *ha*
ReplyDeleteLOL Thanks so much, chickie!! You broke my tie. And your choice won. ;) I'm glad - I'd hate to have had you go against the rules. *hahaha*
ReplyDeleteI look forward to your review on the Watson Brothers, I haven't read that one!
