**Feature & Follow #35 ~ MY Featured Blogger**

Happy Friday and welcome to the Blog Hop!

Feature & Follow is a weekly blog hop hosted by the talented ladies behind AlisonCanRead and Parajunkee's View. The intent of this blog hop is to get out there and meet other bloggers and gain new followers yourself. What sets this blog hop apart is the Feature. Each week, two blogs are featured, one at AlisonCanRead and one at Parajunkee's View. So make sure to hop over to those blogs to check out this week's Features.

This week's Features are:
Bewitched Bookworms
Fiktshun

This week, we have an activity, whereby we get to feature
a favorite blogger. My Featured Blogger is:

(un)Conventional Bookviews

Lexxie @Unconventional Book Views

I started following Lexxie about a year ago, after I found her here on Feature Friday. :) I love the way Lexxie reviews books and after following her for awhile, I realized we read LOTS of the same books. And after a little while longer, she and I began conversing via comments. As our conversations continued, Lexxie and I have found we have lots in common, too! I absolutely adore Lexxie, and our discussions on books, our gargantuan TBRs, our one-click addiction, kids, and life in general, are a bright spot in my day and always leave me smiling! Thanks, Lexxie! *hugs*

1) When did you start blogging?

I started blogging on June 2nd 2012. I had first joined a message board about Twilight, and some of my fellow readers there and I started a another message board for a more mature audience than the teens who squeed. Then, I found Goodreads, and bloggers there, and it opened a whole new world to me. I wanted the pretty background, my own avatar, and more liberty about how and what to post.

2) What is your favorite part of blogging?

One of my favorite parts of blogging is the community! I have met so many nice bloggers, some who enjoy the same books as I do, and others who don't - but the sense of community is still there. And I love being able to visit other blogs, and feel right at home. Of course, finding ever more books to add to my bulging TBR shelf is a good thing, I just keep hoping I will live long enough to be able to read them all.

3) What types of books do you mainly blog about?

I blog about anything fiction. I read books in all genres, YA, NA, romance - both contemporary and historical, paranormal, science fiction, high fantasy, you name it. As long as it's fiction, I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy it. I even sometimes read non-fiction but it has to be about a subject or a person I like, if not, I find it a little tedious. I call myself a genre omnivore *grins*

4) What is your favorite book(s)?

My favorite books... oh my goodness, how many can I choose? I sometimes opt out of Top Ten Tuesday questions because mine would have rather been a top twenty list. But I guess I do have some books I always feel like I could actually read again. I 'm going with Maeve Binchy's Circle of Friends, Stefenie Meyer's Twilight Saga - because it started my love for books and reading again a few years ago, Elizabeth Kostova's The Historian,  Paulo Coelho's The Alchemist (and others), Kim Harrison's The Hollows series, and I also enjoy reading Shakespeare; both plays and sonnets.
