**#ShelfLove ~ My To-Be-Read Shelves**

This month, part of our challenge is to discuss our To-Be-Read piles/shelves. I posted pictures of my TBR Shelves in my sign-up post but I've since cleaned off my library floor and my desk (stacked with books) and stacked those books on top of my shelves. Here's what they currently look like.

I have my library divided between read books - a wall of shelves on one side - and to-be-read books - a wall of shelves on the other side (pictured). My TBR library shelves are organized by genre, beginning with YA, Fiction, Romance, and Sci/Fi-Urban Fantasy rounded things up. As you can see, they're bursting. ;) Yeah, I really need to refrain from buying any more books...for awhile anyway. ;) My reason for joining this challenge is so that I can move books from the to-be-read side to the read side. I mean, I have books that have been on the TBR side for years! And this is just my physical books. My digital shelves are equally as full!!

I decided that I'm not going to list which books I'm going to read for this particular challenge because I want to be able to pick my read based on my mood. Instead, as I read a book, I'm going to put it on my #ShelfLove shelf on Goodreads. And I'll update you here monthly as well.

I'm so excited to be participating in this challenge!!

I'm back! Well, sort of... I've set up a new plan for 2015 to try and be more dedicated with posting on my blog (and so far I have January all covered), and I'll try to be more present with comments too.

I LOVE your bookshelves!!! My flat doesn't allow for tall ones, but I think I'm set all good. In terms of order, Silvia is the one in charge of that, and ours are divided by genre (and in alphabetical order, of course): Paranormal/Fantasy, Contemporary Erotica/Romance, Historical Romance, New Adult and Women's Fiction. Pretty cool, huh? ;) Oh, and we have a shelf for Manga too!

  4. I love your library. Still, i imagine your TBR shelves have been hounding you forever to pay attention to them. I wish you the best on this book buying hiatus of yours. I'm not being sarcastic. Honest.

  5. I love your library :) I'm so glad to be doing this challenge - even if it is taking some work to not buy books! Good luck!

  6. Oh I feel your pain. A friend of mine went through her bookcases and donated books from her tbr pile that no longer interested her.

  7. What an awesome library. So many of my books are eBooks so my physical shelves are no where near as impressive as yours. I'm a little envious.

  8. Oh, my digital shelves are nowhere near as organized, Marilyn...but just as crammed! :)

  10. LOL If only there were books on my tbr shelves that I didn't want to read anymore. *sigh* Nope, I still want to read every one of them!

  12. LOL I started collecting books before I digital reading existed. And I've continued - obviously. ;) I just love books. But I admit that my digital shelves are equally jam-packed...and not nearly as organized. LOL Oh, and the no book buying...I'll explain my method (hahahaha) in next month's post. :)

  13. Yes, I do like to go sit in my library and listen to my books whine. ;) But I'm gonna move quite a few over to the read side this year. It's gonna happen!!!! :)

By the way, you know I went to work today...it was a real test of my convictions. Truly. There were so many books vying for my attention and love. But I told them they had to wait. :)

  14. LOL I'm rather fond of them myself! ;)

  15. Thanks, Jessica! It took me almost 20 years to get a library in my home. :) Worth the wait! LOL

  16. Glad you're back, Franny - in any capacity!

Thank you. I love my shelves too. The wall that isn't pictured has shelves from a Borders store...they sold everything, including their shelves, when they closed. So I have a piece of history in my library, too. I love that your shelves are organized. Mine are broken down into smaller categories on the 'read' side. :) But I have no manga. That's my older daughter's thing. I did read one for her though. :)

  17. I'm jealous of the shelves. I wish I had more room in my tiny condo!

  18. Wow! I think my hubby should be happy with my small amount of books really! That is amazing! And all neatly arranged... love it! I pick books on mood too.... good choice!

  20. Love your shelves! I'm a mood reader too -- I think we both have plenty to choose from for this challenge without making a specific list :)
