Wedding planner Everly Vaughn has three rules for Happily Ever After:
1. Find a nice guy.
2. Make sure he passes the BFF test.
3. Never--no matter how much you like him--engage the Player (aka Austin, your best friend's brother).
What happens if you don't follow them? A Happily Ever Now. (Those don't last.)
Too bad Ever doesn't follow her own rules.
*This FREE prequel novella serves as an introduction to the full-length novel Happily Ever After, and it intended for mature readers.
This is a delightful little read and introduction to the characters I'm assuming will inhabit the series. Happily Ever Now focuses on Everly.
Everly is sharp and intelligent. She works as a wedding planner and seems devoted to LOVE and giving couples the best beginning to their HEA. She's been dating a guy for close to a year now but there's one guy who seems to hold a piece of her heart - even if she won't admit it to herself.
Austin is sweet, fun, and a loyal friend. But he's also a PLAYER. He's the son of a player and makes his living as a player with a reality t.v. show recording all his player ways. But he seems to have a spot in his heart dedicated to Everly. Unfortunately for him, she can't see past his player ways.
Happily Ever Now is a fun read and was actually packed full of story - enough I was satisfied and entertained. I'm eager to see what becomes of Everly and Austin as well as The Girls - Everly's group of BFFs - as they each try to find the own HEAs. And by the way, I've already purchased book 1, Happily Ever After. ;)
