**#COYER Early Review ~ Follow ~ JA Huss**

I was lucky enough (read: extremely *lucky*) to score an advanced copy of this one. *squee*  FYI, this book is not suitable for young audiences, due to mature content. I felt I needed to say that because of the synopsis, which is quite naughty. However, while the book does contain naughty fun, it is sooo much more than naughty tweets. ;)

Synopsis
#Women.

I fuck them. I use them. I pay them off. I find another. My demands are never denied. My contracts are always signed. They submit to me. Willingly. Completely. Temporarily. This is how it's always been.

Until I saw that filthy tweet.

@VaughnAsher My bare pussy. Your tongue. #ThingsIThinkAboutToGetOff

"FilthyBlueBird" thinks she can tease me with hashtags and then hide behind a Twitter handle? She thinks I wouldn't be more than happy to #RockHerFilthyWorld? She's wrong.

Her online fantasy is about to collide with her public reality, and it's about to happen..now.

This is a serial novella.
That means all endings are cliffhangers
This novella is about 150 pages long
This is part one of six
Books are released every two week

What would you do if you met the object of your fantasy? The one with a very public persona - the one you've stalked online and in the media? The one you feel you know so well he stars is every single fantasy you have - every fairy tale dream. And what if reality didn't quite live up to the fantasy you'd conjured?

Follow is the first in Huss' Social Media series and it revolves around such a unique concept. Your average, shy girl, who happens to tweet blush-inducing things to a movie star, meets said movie star, and sparks fly. Grace Kinsella is on vacation with her best friend when she meets Vaughn Asher - the object of her fantasies and all her naughty tweets. ;) Vaughn is immediately taken with Grace and he attempts to ensnare her. Only problem is Vaughn has particular requirements when it comes to relationships. And while Grace is actually intrigued by - excited by - those tastes, she can't seem to get over the fact that Vaughn delivers his requests (read: commands) in such an asshole-ish way.

Huss did an incredible job of setting up this story. I adore well written, character-driven stories and she delivers in spades. Grace and Vaughn are very complex characters. We're privy to a fair amount of their backgrounds. There are hints to some secrets - a little darkness. And we haven't even scratched the surface, I'm sure. The banter and repartee between Grace and Vaughn was perfectly entertaining - especially during those conversations when Vaughn was supposed to be in charge

Huss has a way of making me sympathetic to butthead guys - and Vaughn may be the biggest butthead so far. Seriously, he's a total dick. This guy, who's famous and wealthy, who has everything he could want, treats his 'conquests', for lack of a better term, so poorly. But he can also be charming. We get to see glimpses of the softer, more compassionate side of him. He's not quite sure what to do when he finds a woman he wants like he's never wanted anyone and she won't bend to his will. And I already fell for him - I want to know more - I'm so anxious to see what makes him tick and why.

And Grace - I connected with her quickly. She's survived so much - we don't even know everything yet - but she's resilient. She's shy, yet she's a pistol! I loved that about her. I could totally identify with hiding behind a computer or phone to let your true self out. And the things she comes up with to tweet - such a dirty mind! ;) Grace is a natural submissive but she has an extreme difficulty with trust. And she's absolutely leery to give it to Vaughn.
"...Trust? You're telling me to trust you when you've never earned it..." -Grace, Loc 1005
There's some irony in this story, in my opinion. As Grace watches her fantasies go down in flames, I felt as though Vaughn was seeing in Grace everything he's been looking for - and didn't know he was looking for it.

I have to admit that I was a little nervous to read Follow. When your favorite author goes in a different direction, you have to wonder if it's going to work. I needn't have feared anything. Huss is an amazingly gifted storyteller and she didn't let me down. Follow introduced what promises to be a compelling story with a unique concept and it's brilliantly executed. I'm glowing in satisfaction. :)And after reading the "End of Book Shit", as Huss refers to it, I couldn't help but draw parallels between Vaughn's actions and how Huss wants to make her readers happy...and she knows how to accomplish that...we just have to trust her. I was left thinking "Yes, Master." ;)

JA Huss is the USA Today best-selling author of the Rook and Ronin series, the epic science fiction I Am Just Junco series, and hundreds of kid-friendly science books in subjects such as biology, physics, anatomy and physiology, astronomy, and forensics. I think this book was done brilliantly! Vaughn can get the blood pumping, but ha has those jerk tendencies that make me want to shake him. I am glad that Grace didn't bend completely to his will and did what she did in the end! I cannot wait for LIKE!!
