**Feature & Follow ~ #46 ~ Destination**

Happy Friday and welcome to the Blog Hop!

Feature & Follow is a weekly blog hop hosted by the talented ladies behind AlisonCanRead and Parajunkee's View. The intent of this blog hop is to get out there and meet other bloggers and gain new followers yourself. What sets this blog hop apart is the Feature. Each week, two blogs are featured, one at AlisonCanRead and one at Parajunkee's View. So make sure to hop over to those blogs to check out this week's Features.

This week's Features are:

This week's question is:
What is your favorite Spring Break destination?

I've only taken Spring Break trips since I've been married - because we got married during Spring Break. :) We've always traveled to different places. This year, we didn't get to go anywhere because of our daughters' music commitments. But since it was snowy, here's where I would have liked to have been. I've never been to the Florida Keys...but one day I will.

  1. Aww, that's so cool you guys married on Spring Break!! I hope you guys get to go there soon. I'm tired of snow - it'd be nice to be somewhere warm and sunny! My husband and I took a couple trips together during spring - one was to Mardi Gras before we were even dating, and the next one we had been dating for about seven months and went to Savannah and Key West. We found out later I was pregnant during that trip, and I tell Janie all the time, "You've been to the southern most point of the U.S. already!" lol :)

    1. We've had some warmer temps this week, Jennifer, so there's been significant melting. :) I know Spring is just around the corner! ;) I love that story! *ha* I tell me kids they've been places - in-utero - too! :)

  3. I hear you. We honeymooned during our spring break, as well. We went to D.C., though. Loved it!

    1. Ooh, I've never been to D.C. - Dulles airport is the closest I've been. *ha* Thanks for hopping by. I'm on my way over to your place. :)

  4. About 15 years ago my hubby and I spent a couple of months touring the United States. Key West was one of our destinations. It was very beautiful and definitely a place I wouldn't mind seeing again.
    Happy Friday Brandee!

    1. Oh, that's so nice, Marilyn. I wish my husband and I could tour somewhere for a few months! I keep telling him I want to travel when the kids are all away at college and he says 'yes, we will...to wherever they're attending college." ;) I'm glad you enjoyed Key West - hopefully one of my kids will go to college in Florida! *ha*

  5. I'm not a beach gal--more of a city chick. When I was younger I did enjoy the sand and surf, though, and Florida was lovely!

    1. I'd say I'm actually more of a mountain/country girl, Alice. But a warm beach sounds good after a lot of snow! ;) Thanks for hopping by and for the follows!

  6. Yeah, I never really did the spring break thing. My parents were SUPER strict when I was in high school and college, so I've pretty much stuck to the standard trip to a communal, extended family beach house at Gwynn's Island, VA. Even as an adult b/c I love it there. Kind of boring . . .

    1. I always had to work during spring break...*sigh* I love that you have a place to go to that such a part of your history, Jessica. That's pretty cool. We do ski during our spring break - the slopes are only an hour away! ;)

  7. OOh nice! Yeah, I'm not much of a beach goer myself. Don't like the heat or sand and oceans and me don't go together! I grew up watching Jaws, so needless to say I will never go into the ocean!
