This week's question is: With warmer weather hopefully on the horizon, where is your favorite outdoor reading spot?
I live in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and I have a nice spot out in front of my house, under lots of pines and spruces, to sit back, relax and read! I love sitting out there reading, having the sun on my face, and listening to the wind in the trees. Ah, I'm missing summer! Right now, I have 2 feet of snow on the ground! :)

Oh wow! That sounds nice!! In St. Louis, the "warm weather" usually means hot sticky, humidity type weather with no cool breeze, just hot icky air.
ReplyDeleteSpring can have its nice days but they are usually coupled with the tornado weather too. So that's not at all enjoyable either!
Here's my Follow Friday
Have a GREAT weekend!
Old Follower :)
Hi Jessica! I'm not such a fan of hot-n-sticky or tornadoes for that matter! ;) I do have to worry about forest fires here, so I won't complain about the snow.
DeleteEnjoy your weekend!!
Thank you for the follow, I am now following you back with GFC :)

Have a great Friday :)
Thanks for following! I hope you enjoy my reviews...I look forward to reading yours. :)
DeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! Happy Friday! You're making me want summer even more than usual!
ReplyDeleteHey Morgan - thanks for stopping by here. Yeah, I do like summer...but I'm enjoying spring here in the mountains. The snow makes for nice skiing! :)
DeleteSounds so nice. I have a Pine tree in my front yard, and I live in California, near the beach, so I love the Pines :) Anyway, sounds like a great place to read.

It is a great place for reading! Your backyard looks pretty nice as well! ;)
DeleteThanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend!
Sounds great! Like you, I'm in the Rockies, but one state over in Utah. Literally over just the last 2 days, the weather's warmed up considerably and most of our snow (in the valleys anyway) has melted. Hope you experience that soon as well. :D
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday! My FF.
The melt has started here in the valleys - I'm up above 8000 ft though. So it'll take a little longer. :) I'm not complaining though...more snow means less chance of wild fires.
DeleteHave a wonderful weekend, Liesel!
Thank you for stopping by! I live near-ish to the rocky mountains, though I only get to see them up close when I travel to Banff.
ReplyDeleteThanks for returning the visit! I haven't been to Banff but I love pictures! :) I spend a lot of time in Rocky Mountain National Park, myself.
DeleteEnjoy your weekend!
Two feet of snow! I'm flying out there for the first time in a couple weeks. My dad hasn't mentioned the snow yet. I think he's worried I'll back out. Your reading spot sounds wonderful. I'd fall asleep. Due to the iffy future of GFC I RSS Google followed you. This is my FF.
ReplyDeleteHey Robyn! Well, I live up above 8000 ft, so that's why I still have snow. Down in Denver, it's probably dry. ;) There...did that calm you down?!? LOL! My reading spot rocks! I hope you get to make it up to the mountains while you're here.
DeleteThanks for following me. I followed you back via GFC, Google +, and email. :)
That sounds lovely!

That sounds like a wonderful place to read outside!
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!!
Here's my FF.
It is pretty special! You have some fab reading spots as well! :)
DeleteHappy Reading!
Aha, that is where you sit to dream of your Beautiful Bastard!
ReplyDeleteI prefer inside :-)
You know it! ;)
DeleteI read indoors for many months of the year. :) Usually with a cat in my lap!
Colorado, wow. I haven't really gotten out West (with the exception of CA), but I would love to visit the Rockies! And wow, I miss seeing snow! We don't get much of that in TN.

I've only been through a tiny portion of TN - on my way to Dulles. But since it does snow here, I spend many hours reading indoors...usually with my cat napping in my lap! :)
DeleteI'm following you back! Happy Reading!
Your outdoor reading spot sounds so relaxing! Old GFC Follower!

Hiya Caitlin! Thanks for hopping by. I think your library makes for a lovely reading spot as well! Although, on the patio with coffee sounds great! :) Have a wonderful weekend!
DeleteThe mountains would be incredible! I don't think I could handle the snow in the winter though. It's pretty but I don't like getting out in it. But the summer sun has it's own issues. Guess I'll stay inside :D Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteTraci @ Mad Hatter Reads
LOL! Yes, the snow does make for interesting driving sometimes. And I have to drive kiddos to school...but it makes for nice skiing too! The summer sun is great...particularly when sitting under the shade of lots of trees! ;)
DeleteHowever, I do spend many hours indoors reading. And that's just as nice. As long as we get time to read, right?!? Enjoy your weekend, Traci!
Already a follower :)

Thanks for hopping by, Elemillia!
DeleteAhhhh that sounds DIVINE *sigh*! Mind you the snow is as good a reason as any to stay snuggled up indoors with a good book ;) But the are you're describing must be hard to beat in the Summer ♥
ReplyDeleteYes, the cats and I enjoy snuggling in front of the fire and reading during the colder months. :) Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteThat's nice. :)
ReplyDeleteI usually read at the beach while I am tanning.
I am a new follower. Here is my FF http://goo.gl/5VVRD
The beach would be a favorite of mine as well...if I lived close to one! ;) Thanks for the follow - I followed back.
DeleteSounds beautiful. I've been to the Rockies many times. Love that place. Enjoy! My FF
ReplyDeleteI wondered if you'd camped here when I saw your camper photo! Thanks for stopping by, Annette!
DeleteThat sound like such an amazing peaceful spot. Thanks for sharing and visiting my FF. Old GFC Follower, New Twitter and Linky Follower. =]
ReplyDeleteThanks for hopping over, Michael. And for the new follows...I followed by via Twitter! :)
DeleteThat snow is definitely a deterrent for outdoor reading! I'd be snuggly indoors with some hot chocolate. I hope you get your nice summer days under the Spruces and Pines soon to enjoy :D Jaclyn @ JC's Book Haven
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy sitting by the fire and reading - and watching the snow. :) Hope you've had a nice weekend, Jaclyn! :)
DeleteI'm wanting some warmer weather, too. I live in Central New York, and the amount of snow we get every year is insane. Although this past winter has been mild.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, your reading place sounds very relaxing. Thanks for sharing :)
Weather is a finicky thing, huh? Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate it!
DeleteThat sounds like a great place to read! It is too hot to read outside where I live.
ReplyDeleteNew GFC follower ;-)
My F&F
It's too bad it's too hot where you live. But really, as long as we get to read somewhere...that's all that matters, right?!? :) Thanks for hopping by and for the follow. I followed back. ;)
