**2015 Reading Assignment Challenge Sign-Up Post**

2015HWLogo

Berls @Fantasy is More Fun and Michelle @Because Reading have been at it again! They've come up with a challenge for next year that I think is brilliant! You know the reading list you had when you were in school? Well, in this challenge, you have a list but it's one that you create yourself!

For the full details, rules, and to sign up, click on the logo above. But essentially, you pick a level, create a list of books to fulfill that level, and keep everyone posted on your progress monthly. Your list cannot change after you've created it, and you must read the books you say you're going to each month. But don't worry, there are passes you can earn as well as extra credit. Just like going back to school. ;)

I'm going for Level 3, which is 24 books for the year, 2 per month. I think this is realistic. And I own all of these books, so I'll be cleaning my shelves as well.

Of course, Berls and Michelle have fun things planned like giveaways to keep us motivated! So, wanna go back to school with me? It's guaranteed to be the best assigned reading you ever had! :)

My Assigned Reading List:

Outlander (Outlander, #1)Hopeless (Hopeless, #1)Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1)Out of Breath (Breathing, #3)Daughter of Smoke & Bone (Daughter of Smoke & Bone, #1)Hereafter (Hereafter, #1)Juliet Immortal (Juliet Immortal, #1)Opal (Lux, #3)Endure (Need, #4)Gone GirlEver After (The Hollows, #11)A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1)Off the Record (Record, #1)Shield of Fire (Bringer and the Bane, #1)Fight with Me (With Me in Seattle, #2)Breathe (Sea Breeze, #1)Bright Young Things (Bright Young Things, #1)Crux (Southern Arcana, #1)Bully (Fall Away, #1)Raphael (Vampires in America, #1)Uprising (Fires of Providence, #1)Cry Wolf (Alpha & Omega, #1)Shadow's Edge (Night Prowler, #1)Poughkeepsie (Poughkeepsie Brotherhood, #1)

  1. Very nice list, Brandee, I'm sure you're going to love doing your homework in 2015 ;) I see some books here that I really love, and I'm so happy you'll read them now (Hopeless, Cry Wolf, Ever After...) And I agree, 24 books is completely doable, my dear.
I'm happy you're participating in this challenge, I'm a little nervous because I have signed up too, and I'm actually itching to change some of my books already :O Hopefully, I'll be able to stay on track.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend my dear. Happy reading!! *BIG HUGS*

  2. Love your list. I've read a few of these and they were all great. Good luck on completing the challenge. And what a great way to empty some of the books off your shelf.

  3. Oh I love the books on your list! This sounds like a fun challenge and it will probably be a lot of fun. Next year I think I'm going to skip reading challenges and just read based on my mood. Good luck with the challenge!

  4. I love Cry Wolf! And I have Hopeless on my Kindle. I remember Lexxie loving that one. I think Game of Thrones should count as three books. Great list. I can't wait to hear about them! I hope you have a great week, Brandee!!

  6. I am planning to sign-up for this challenge as well, but I can't figure out which books to put on my list and am still wondering which books I will read this month. I probably will sign-up later this month.

  7. I'm glad you're gonna do this challenge too, Lola. I giggled over you having trouble deciding which books...it wasn't easy for me really but I picked some and at least I *know* they'll be read next year. :)

  8. Ooh, I'm really excited for Outlander and Hopeless, Trish. ;) And yeah, I wish my reading lists had been like this as well. My degree is in Eng Lit so my lists didn't stop after high school. :/ 2015 is looking great! *ha*

  9. I put Cry Wolf on there because of you, Robyn. ;) Maybe we'll buddy read Hopeless?? LOL about GoT - I've had the book forever because a co-worker said I *had* to read it because he just knew I'd love it. Well, we shall see...we shall see. Happy Monday, girlie!

  10. Thanks, Teresa. I figure these 24 will give me a range to fit my mood. I'm just concentrating on getting books from the tbr shelf to the read shelf next year. ;)

  11. Right?? I'm really hoping to do just that, Marilyn. I've let waaaay too many books pile up because of my one-click addiction...oh, and my need to buy physical books too. ;)

  12. Thanks, Lexxie! I can't wait to be able to talk to you about certain books that I know you loved. :) And we can fangirl over CHoover in May, right?!? ;) I can't remember how many books you aimed for but I know you can do it. And you know, there's really something to fit every mood right? You'll be fine with the choices you made and you'll do great in the challenge...I just know it!

    Happy Monday! *BIG HUGS*

  13. You have a GREAT List! I want to read The Daughter of Smoke and bones. A Lot of people did 24 I am thinking I shouldn't have been such a chicken and went for 24 instead of 12 :) but I guess I will wait until next year! Good Luck!

  14. Thanks, Michelle. LOL I thought I was being chicken going with 24. I read a lot of books in a year though, so I think I can do this. :) I hope we both love The Daughter of Smoke and Bones. I'm so excited about this challenge! I'm so glad you and Berls put this together. ;)

  17. Yay! So glad you're on board! I'm doing 24 books too and I'm so nervous I'll be able to keep on track... I may fail at my own challenge in the first month :/ LOL! No I'll make it. To February at least.

You haven't read Outlander?!?! What! Oh that needs to be a book you read when you have some time on your hands though. And you're going to love Ever After (seriously Brandee? I'm coming through the computer and making you catch up on The Hollows!) and i just love The Alpha & Omega series, maybe even more than Mercy Thompson, so that should be a treat too. Good luck!

  18. Thanks, Lorna. I'm really excited about reading all of these. And I'm looking forward to the feeling of accomplishment as well. :)

  19. I think I can do 24 - easy-peasy. I'm really not going to do many blog tours in 2015 so I can spend more time reading what I already own. :)

Nope, I've never read Outlander...even though I have a friend who's been begging me to for like 10 years. Just never made the time. Maybe I'll read it on my anniversary vacation...is it a beach worthy read? ;) And yes, yes, I promise to get caught up on The Hollows as well. Well seriously, Berls, I'm gonna be reading all TWENTY-FOUR of these in 2015. I can't wait!

  20. Great list!! I love Outlander so I hope you enjoy it. I have her latest book on my list & I also have a book from the Lux series. Good luck with the challenge and have fun reading your books!!

  21. Fantastic! Great job at making a realistic goal! Opal is awesomesauce, i just finished the final book Opposition in the Lux series, sad it's over. Endure was a fail for me but I hope you enjoy. Bully is absolutely awesome, so much sexy!!! Cry Wolf and Crux are both on my tbr shelf as well. Hopeless by Colleen Hoover is waiting for me when I finally get back from break. Good luck on your challenge.
