This month, part of our challenge is to discuss our freebie sources. Yay! I love *FREEBIES*!! Being able to one-click freebies, although I've refrained to a certain degree, has been a saving grace for me in this no book-buying challenge. I typically find most of my freebies (and 99 cent sales) from....BLOGGERS! Every week, these bloggers post books they've found for *free*. But I've also subscribed to a few services that send me daily/weekly emails to let me know about deals. Here's a list of bloggers who keep me in the know as well as the subscriber services:
Unconventional Book Views
Nomi's Paranormal Palace
Ana's Attic
SBC (Shameless Book Club)
Pinkindle
Marilyn's Mystery Blog
Bad Bird Reads
BookBub
Book Perk (HarperCollins)

Is it any wonder that my ereaders are overflowing??? How about y'all? How do you find freebies?
Who doesn't love free books?!
ReplyDeleteI get email alerts on top of blogger buzz. bookbub, bargain booksy, pixel ink, and pulse it.
I used to find freebies thanks to bloggers too, and had e-mail alerts from "The hottest books for your kindle", but I have so many freebies to read now that I'm afraid I'll never make it ! I'm trying to refrain and only buy the books on my wish-list that become free or less expensive. Phew, it's hard to resist !
ReplyDeleteSo I'm still a good/bad influence on you Brandee? I usually tell people it's yours, Bad Bird Reads' and Nomi's Paranormal Palace as well as Rabid Reads' fault I have so many books ;)
ReplyDeleteI also get daily deals from amazon, but I have stopped even looking at those e-mails, if not my kindle would really be bursting at the seams.
*BIG HUGS*
I am also subscribed to BookBub, I often grab some freebies fi they sound interesting, but if the books costs money i only grab them if I really want them. Beside that I get most of my freebies thanks to other bloggers, whether through their blogs or through social media.
ReplyDeleteReadcheaply.com is my favorite one that I get a daily email from-a lot of the books are only on sale for a few days or so and are usually a lot more money regularly-I spend a lot due to them. They also have freebies too. I also get an email daily from I love Vampire Novels,com- which just means they are paranormal. They also get lots of money from me as well as freebies! Carmel posts on tsu everyday books deals and I have gotten some of those as well. I think I am going to look at some of these others that you and others have mentioned as well-because I truly want my tbr pile to blow up my Kindle :) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHaha! I knew I'd make this list!! I try my best! *wink*
ReplyDeleteNaomi @ Nomi’s Paranormal Palace
Right?!? Unfortuntely - and I hate to admit this - but I keep getting alerts that my kindle is out of memory! Bwahahaha! I'll have to check out a few of the places you mentioned. Because yeah, I *need* more books!
ReplyDeleteIt is sooo hard to resist! I'm trying though. Particularly because I'm participating in this challenge. I truly do need to read what I already have!
ReplyDeleteWell, we friends reciprocate, no? *ha* But Lexxie, I have gotten emails from Amazon telling me my kindle is out of memory! That's embarrassing! See...my kindle really *is* bursting at the seams! *BIG HUGS*
ReplyDeleteI really, really try to refrain from one-clicking, even if they're free. Because I'm going to have to live to be 200 to read all the books I own! *ha*
ReplyDeleteOh no! There's another place for me to get free books?!? *ha* I will have to check out both these sites, Lorna. But I'm really interested in I Love Vampire Novels.com! *ha* Oh, and I guess I better get on tsu. I haven't done that yet because I'm not really good at social media like that. :)
ReplyDeleteBut of course! ;) And since you've not steered me wrong yet, I'll forgive you. *ha*
ReplyDeleteI can totally relate to that, that's what I'm trying to do this year, clean that e-reader ("trying" being the key word here ;) )
ReplyDeleteWOW, what are you going to do ? I guess you'll have to start taking off the books you've already read? And maybe check if there are any kindles with more memory? I've been lusting after the Kindle Voyager but I don't know if there's more memory on it...
